I was in the garage and saw this on the wall.

I tried to catch the meteor shower for an hour after midnight, but I only saw two meteors. Here's a picture of some stars though. The distortion isn't from a shaky camera, it's from a long exposure and the rotation of the earth.

Washington D.C. Trip 2011

I went to D.C. this weekend. Here are some of the highlights:

Today I visited the Washington National Cathedral. I found a locked door with a large keyhole. I expected to find a private room on the other side but instead saw some trees.
