Birthday!

It's my birthday! I got to visit the set of America's Most Wanted in Washington, D.C.. Here's a look:

This is where I used to live.

An English assignment about hometowns prompted me to visit the farm where I grew up. I expected to see row after row of houses, but to my delight a couple had bought the property and started renovating it. Nice people. They live in my old neighbors house, which is a historical stone building.

This is where I used to live. 

It's a shack that started out as a trailer. Even though it wasn't a great house, it provided for a great home. We lived off of the land, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to grow up.

These photos were taken from our doorstep. I took the left one on Saturday. My mother took the one on the right during the blizzard of 1996.
