Today, NASA transported Space Shuttle Discovery from Florida to Dulles International Airport by mounting it to a Boeing 747. This was the shuttle's final flight before being retired to the Udvar Hazy Center. I took the above photo as the shuttle was passing over Chantilly, VA. The shuttle and escort circled Washington, D.C. three times before landing at about 11:00AM. Here's a video of a flyby(skip to 00:15):
